Comedian and actor Russell Brand is scheduled to host ‘Buy Love Here,’ a swap-meet-type event on Thursday. Singer Katy Perry, actor Adrian Grenier and celebrity blogger Perez Hilton are scheduled to be part of the event. Buy Love Here attendees can bring used goods and trade them for anything from clothing to electronics. Brand describes the event as a “social experiment” that will create a sense of community and reveal what people are willing to trade and what they find most valuable. The event is part of a documentary Brand is filming called “Happiness,” a look at the pursuit of happiness in the modern world. |
