Adrian will attend the New Zealand International Film Festival where his documentary Teenage Paparazzo will be screened. Grenier, who gives a fascinating insight into the workings of fame and media, will attend the screening of Teenage Paparazzo in Wellington at the Paramount on 25 July. The New Zealand International Film Festival begins in Wellington on July 16.

Adrian is happy with all the positive reviews so far for the new season of his “Entourage,” which has been widely applauded as back in top form after one of its lesser seasons. As for reports that the show opened with a 25 percent ratings drop from last year, well, they don’t even seem to be a blip on his radar.

I don’t really think about it. You know, the new media and new technology has changed everything, including how people end up coming to watch a show,” he points out. “I know a lot of guys who TiVo it. People wait to for it to come out in a format they can watch. This show in particular is a very communal show — groups of 20 or 30 people get together and watch it. So whatever ratings you mention, they’re going to be inaccurate.”

“Entourage” has a lot of changes in store for Vince this season.”He really comes out of his shell, his protective womb. I think it was an inevitable turn,” says Grenier. “He feels like he’s losing his support system, and he has to, for the first time, step out and take care of himself. He doesn’t initially want to take that responsibility. He rebels a little against having to be independent. It’s a growing-up and coming-of-age story of sorts. At the end of the day, he has to grow.”

Grenier says that show creator Doug Ellin “talks to me about the depths I’m willing to go with the character. I’m fine with it. I’m a team player. I want to do everything I can to make the best show possible.”

Adrian Grenier will join The Good Listeners, the duo featuring Clark Stiles and Nathan Khyber, at the Los Angeles premiere of their documentary, Don’t Quit Your Daydream.

Don’t Quit Your Daydream is the story of two musicians, both approaching 40, unwilling to give up their dream of becoming rock stars. The duo set off to accomplish what many rendered impossible – record an entire album on the road with complete strangers while documenting each encounter. Leaving their day jobs behind, they embarked on a 24-day cross-country road trip to record and film both the album and documentary, Don’t Quit Your Daydream.

While visiting 12 cities across America, they recorded their music with local musicians including Bingo Richey in Joshua Tree, CA, Bugs Salcido on an art ranch in Marfa, TX. Adrian Grenier also joined them and performed at a barn in Lexington, KY.

Don’t Quit Your Daydream made its festival debut at the 2010 Nashville Film Festival where The Good Listeners were awarded the Special Jury Prize. With each view, the film continues to gain momentum and connect with fellow musicians, critics and music fans nationwide.

Adrian’s documentary Teenage Paparazzo screens on Thursday and Saturday at Event Cinemas in George Street as part of the Sydney Film Festival.

When Adrian began shooting Teenage Paparazzo, he considered celebrity photographers “as inhuman. Subhuman really. And Austin was a little shit who needed to be taught a lesson”.

But as Grenier got to know the 13-year-old Austin Visschedyk and his fellow paparazzi, he discovered they had a human side beyond their annoying, aggressive and occasionally threatening behaviour. “I have the honour of being his very first celebrity photo,” Grenier said. “So the stars were definitely aligned. No pun intended.”

Grenier’s curiosity was piqued and he began filming the juvenile paparazzo as he stalked Hollywood starlets such as Paris Hilton and Lindsay Lohan, often well after midnight. He also meets Austin’s parents and his fellow snappers, and acts as a sounding board for celebs aggrieved by paparazzi.

Buy Love Here attendees can bring used goods and trade them for anything from clothing to electronics. Brand describes the event as a “social experiment” that will create a sense of community and reveal what people are willing to trade and what they find most valuable.

The event is part of a documentary Brand is filming called “Happiness,” a look at the pursuit of happiness in the modern world.

Adrian and Hollywood Producer Peter Glatzer have partnered together to build a campaign for green living called SHFT.  They have coupled this project together with online webisodes titled Lighten Up that follow big-name artists and musicians to encourage them to go green on the road.

Even Adrian and his band the Honey Brothers have taken a tour around the country going green and promoting the cause.
