Entourage Season 6 Episode Descriptions
Wednesday, June 17th, 2009Adrian Sited at the LA Arboretum in a Live Life Organics Tee
Saturday, June 13th, 2009
Green celeb, Adrian Grenier, was checking out organic edible plants and gardens at the LA Arboretum while generating positive karma in his Live Life Organics (organic cotton clothing) brand tee.
Adrian Grenier, one of the top Eco-celebrities (best known for his starring role in the hit HBO show Entourage) who truly “walks the walk” of environmentally conscious living, was recently spotted at the LA Arboretum, checking out organic edible plants and beautiful gardens, while wearing a Live Life Organics brand, organic cotton tee, that put out some great positive vibes.
Live Life Organics (Organic Cotton Apparel) is an up and coming eco-friendly clothing line featuring comfortable casual apparel with positive messages.
The founder of Live Life Organics, Stephanie Lavner, wanted to design organic cotton clothing that was more than just a brand, she wanted to foster a lifestyle. There is a strong need for more optimism in the world and likewise there is a vital need to help preserve our delicate environment by supporting organic agriculture and eliminating hazardous waste. One way to embrace these needs is through the clothes we wear. This is the foundation for Live Life Organics-organic wear for a Positive and Greener world.
Adrian Says Greening Entourage Set A Struggle
Saturday, June 13th, 2009Adrian Grenier is known for being an environmental activist in his personal life — but the actor has also been trying hard to bring those same passions to the set of his hit series on HBO, Entourage. Unfortunately, such changes have been slow to develop.
“It’s a constant struggle, it’s about habits. We are habitual creatures and people don’t always want to change. They only want to do what they know,” Grenier told FOX News at the Salvatore Ferragamo soiree in Beverly Hills to support GlobalGiving’s Italy Earthquake Recovery and Relief Fund. “At one point, we wanted to use all bio-diesel generators on-set, but its just not viable as the technology isn’t up to par. So what we did was just replace one generator. It’s a slow process of transformation.”
In his personal life, however, things are greener than ever. “The fact that the Obama’s put a garden at the White House is not only a symbolic gesture, but it’s also a very tangibly successful one. I just put in a garden myself, I was inspired,” he added. “I’m growing zucchini, lettuce, tomatoes, strawberries and corn.”
Barrymore Not Dating Grenier
Wednesday, June 3rd, 2009Rumor has it that Drew Barrymore is dating Adrian Grenier — but a source tells there is no romance there!
According to reports, Drew and Adrian enjoyed dinner together at Cliff’s Edge Restaurant in Los Angeles, sparking rumors of a romance, but a source tells that the two are not an item, and Adrian is simply interviewing the “He’s Just Not That Into You” star for an upcoming documentary.
Eco Maniac
Tuesday, May 19th, 2009Walking into a flash city hotel for a late-afternoon rendezvous is likely to set your heart aflutter.
When you’re there to meet an A-list star who’s spent more than his fair share of screen time on your home plasma, the beats per minute are off the chart. Add to that a 40-degree heatwave and I’m a mess before I’ve even stepped into the airconditioned lobby. My carefully selected outfit now hangs crumpled and I wonder how long it will be until I can take off my jacket.
Before I have a second more to think about it, I’m whisked to a luxurious corner suite with spectacular views (not that I’m looking). I saunter in, focused on not tripping over my heels. My date today is Hollywood heart-throb Adrian Grenier, and it quickly becomes obvious he couldn’t be less interested in my outfit or more interested in the tea he’s stirring.
Entourage lives the life in Fontana fast lane
Tuesday, May 19th, 2009The New York buddies turned L.A.-showbiz-hipsters on HBO’s series “Entourage” don’t just hang out at trendy Beverly Hills and Malibu hot spots. Just recently they made a pit stop at Auto Club Speedway in Fontana.
According to a speedway statement, the show’s cast — Kevin Connolly (Eric), Adrian Grenier (Vince), Kevin Dillon (Drama) and Jerry Ferrara (Turtle) — filmed an episode that included the new Ferrari California. What might be the guys’ newest toy, at least for that episode, is the latest in a new generation of Ferrari sportscars.
The episode is scheduled to air in July, during the show’s sixth season.
Adrian’s iPhone App
Thursday, May 14th, 2009Adrian has caught the mobile application bug. He is planning to launch an eco-themed app for Apple’s iPhone and Google’s Android mobile platform this fall. The effort marks an early foray into celebrity-backed mobile applications.
Grenier isn’t coding the app himself. Big in Japan, a Dallas, Texas-based firm that created the popular shopping comparison app ShopSavvy, is providing most of the development and design work. Big in Japan co-founder Alex Muse says Adrian approached the company after learning of ShopSavvy. The new app, called ecohero, will incorporate ShopSavvy’s barcode-scanning technology to help consumers weigh products’ environmental and health impact.
Ecohero will also contain other functions, such as a carbon calculator and eco-encyclopedia. To encourage users to live environmentally, the app will record their (submitted) activity and suggest eco-friendly ways they can offset their activities. “We wanted to provide a social way to use the apps,” Muse says.
On-screen, the app resembles a “utility belt” that rotates with the swipe of a finger. It will launch this fall with six “micro-applications.” The group plans to add more “tools” to the belt in the future, including “lite” versions of existing eco-friendly mobile apps.
The group–headed by “co-founders” Grenier and Muse–is talking to potential partners now. Sponsors could back a particular micro-app in return for marketing or branding space within it. The team hopes to sign partners by July and launch around August or September on Android and the iPhone. Muse says Grenier’s star power has helped open doors. “Adrian can make the calls, which is great,” he says.
Demonstration
Thursday, May 7th, 2009The Honey Brothers are releasing their digital EP ‘Demonstration’ on June 16, and with their ‘new wave folk/Hawaiian-Appalachian Glam Rock’ sound, you might be in for a pleasant surprise. Their sound is bouncy and undoubtedly fun. You will find yourself rocking along to the splashiness of the Hawaiian waves… or is it the Appalachian breeze? Who knows, either way, you will be rocking, bouncing, swimming, climbing, and having a grand old time. Listen to the song on Adrian Grenier Online.
Spike Acquires HBO’s ‘Entourage’
Tuesday, May 5th, 2009Spike TV has acquired the basic cable rights to HBO comedy Entourage. The deal gives Spike the rights to all five seasons to date, as well as all future episodes. Comedy Central will also get a window to air the series, most likely in late night. Both Comedy Central and Spike TV are part of the MTV Networks portfolio.
“It’s great, to have a shot at getting a wider audience and reach [for Entourage] than HBO has,” Entourage creator and executive producer Doug Ellin tells B&C. “It is a guys channel, and it is a great show that a lot of younger guys watch; it’s a perfect fit.”
Spike will begin airing Entourage in January 2010. The network hasn’t announced what it will pair the HBO comedy with, but it has a number of original comedies in development. An established half-hour show like Entourage would serve as a strong springboard for the cabler’s originals.
